After another dead end and a cache of Rubies later, and Jack suddenly emerges into a small chamber in the earth.

The Lava Worm has come to rest here among a puddle of magma. There are two GreenShafts in the room; the one beyond the Lava Worm is choked with debris, perhaps the consequence of the Lava Worm’s tunneling or a less recent convulsion of the earth. A second GreenShaft overhead rings with the sounds of bodies hastily climbing the ladder inside. There is no doubt which is the right path.

Leaving behind the Lava Worm and (regretfully) a collection of Gold Coins, Jack leaps to the GreenShaft in pursuit.
