Among the personal effects of the slain Fire Giant, Perilous Jack finds only one item of interest – the Tin Whistle which the Giant used to summon his Wyvern allies.

He pockets the Whistle and examines the Giant’s sword. Although it is undoubtedly a powerful magic artifact, it is far too large to be of any use to him. He leaves the sword behind and makes his painstaking way back through the castle and out again.
